A family has paid to an elderly woman who died after being hit by a tractor.
Mary Jeffrey, 82, was fatally struck near the village of Terregles in Dumfries and Galloway on Saturday.
Ms Jeffrey from Dumfries was walking on the main road through the village when she was hit at around 1.40pm.
No other vehicles were involved.
Her family said in statement issued by police: “We are shocked and devastated and would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and support at this difficult time.”
