A limited entry this month with mainly cull cows forward which sold well and in line with normal and unrestricted markets.

A single UTM heifer sold to 141p for Messrs W.T. Key & Son of St. Breock, Wadebridge. A single OTM steer to 130p/kg for Messrs W.H. Pengelly & Son of Praze, Camborne.

A run of Friesian OTM heifers on behalf of Messrs M. & J. Rowe of Ashton, Helston sold to a top of 115p/kg and averaged 105.53p/kg.

Cull cows sold to 98p/kg (724kg) for a South Devon from Messrs R. & J. Bailey of Frogpool, Truro. Top Friesian was 97p/kg (831kg) for Messrs M. & J. Rowe of Ashton, Helston.

Matthews of St. Erme saw the best strong Suffolk sell to £92.50 with a Charollais selling for £82.50.
