A FALMOUTH woman drove in a supermarket car park whilst unfit through drink.

Wendy Buckby, aged 49, of Gyllyngvase Road, admitted committing the offence in Truro on June 11, when she drove a BMW 118 in Tesco car park.

Magistrates imposed a community order, requiring her to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

She was banned from the roads for two years and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 costs.

FAILING to give information relating to the driver alleged to have committed an offence has resulted in a fine for a Falmouth man.

Dwight Antonio Perry, aged 50, of Porhan Green, committed the offence on February 20 at Crownhill Police Station in Plymouth.

He was fined £660 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £66 victim surcharge. His licence was endorsed with six points.

A CAMBORNE man has admitted possessing cannabis and assault by beating.

Ryan Paul Clemow, aged 27, of Trevenson Street, committed the offences on May 3 in Camborne.

He has received a community order in which he will be electronically monitored for eight weeks.

Magistrates also imposed a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting the female victim of the assault.

Sean Michael Ross, aged 28, of Trevenson Road, committed the offence on January 16 on Brunton Road in Pool.

Marius Draksas, aged 26, of Binnerton Road, admitted committing the offence in a Peugeot on June 22, on the B3303 near Praze.

He had 53mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

He was banned for 15 months and fined £300. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.

Jonathan Tobias Gribble, of Kerley Vale, Chacewater, admitted committing the offence on March 2 at Porthtowan, in a black Citroen.

He had 217mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 60mlgs.

He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and has been disqualified from driving for 38 months.
