This year’s Smallholding and Countryside Festival takes place at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells on 18 and 19 May.

A weekend-long celebration of smallholding and rural life, the event will include equestrian sports, dog and even duck displays.

Throughout the weekend the main ring will feature shows and demonstrations. These will include the equestrian sport of scurry racing, a stunt show with Jez Avery, the H&M Dog Display Team and Meirion Owen and his Quack Pack.

The Festival of Welsh Land Rovers will also be at the festival this year showcasing vintage models through to the highly modified vehicles used in endurance events in the modern day.

Live music, country sports, livestock, competitions, food and drink, shopping and demonstrations will also be taking place at the event.
