IT'S time to get voting for the third category in the Packet's Pub of the Year competition.

The contest is running throughout 2019, aiming to shine a light on our hard-working publicans and celebrate the great boozers we have in our area.

The St Michael's Inn at Barripper took the first prize, winning Best Food Pub, and earlier this week we revealed that the Golden Lion at Menherion near Stithians was crowned Best Village/Rural Pub.

Now, it's time for you to vote for your favourite town pub.

The winner will have perfected switching from daytime to night-time trade and the different style of service this requires.

Does it stage events in the evenings, does it change menus regularly, does it always offer a warm welcome from landlord and locals alike?

Voting closes at 5pm on Sunday, April 7, so without further ado, get voting!

There are three ways to vote:

1. Via our Facebook inbox - click on our facebook page and send us a message

2. Email editorial@packetseries.co.uk

3. Post your vote to the Packet, Falmouth Business Park, Bickland Water Road, Falmouth, TR11 4SZ.

* Please DO NOT put your suggestion on the comments feed beneath the facebook post, because the voting should remain private.
