THE Farm Agency Division of Symonds & Sampson is once again offering its popular Free Farm Valuation Week between January 28 and February 1.

Farmers and landowners throughout Dorset, Devon, Somerset,Wiltshire and Hampshire are invited to discuss the possible sale of farms, estates, smallholdings, land and rural properties with land.

“This is a chance to get an up-to-date market appraisal of your property,” said Andrew Tuffin, head of the Farm Agency department.

“We cover the whole spectrum, from large estates and farms to small paddocks and development opportunities. For farmers and landowners considering their options for the future, it’s a great opportunity to benefit from some free expert advice.”

In 2018 the supply of farms and land across the region was up on recent years yet the majority met healthy demand from a range of farmers, investors and residential buyers and have sold well.

Despite economic uncertainty, values have generally held but have diverged – largely due to localised demand.

Having sold 4,000 acres and established a 56% market share in its region (RICS/RAU data) the agency has little stock left on the books.

It is registering new London, national, international, regional and local buyers every day and therefore urgently requires more property.

If previous years are anything to go by, appointments fill up fast, so call Andrew on 01258 474268 or your local agent to book.
