Hawk Tractors has taken delivery of 158 brand new tractors from equipment supplier John Deere, as part of their continued fleet replenishment programme.

With a fleet of over 800 machines, Hawk specialise in tractor and telehandler hire to the agricultural and construction sectors, and a company commitment to offering customers the newest and best machines available means the average age of their fleet is just 12 months.

Director for Hawk Tractors, John Smith, said: “We want our customers to have the best products on the market. We understand that unreliable equipment and machine downtime is simply unacceptable for our customers. By ensuring a young average age for our fleet, we are offering our customers the very latest in technology and innovation for a price they can afford.

“John Deere is a brand renowned for quality and performance and these 158 new machines are part of our commitment to offer customers the very best tractor hire fleet in the market.”

Following an order worth in excess of £12 million, the new tractors offer a wide variety of capabilities and features, ranging from six metre, medium sized, multi purpose tractors, to the larger 8R series which features impressive drawbar power and lifting capacity.

Mr Smith added: “Our partnership with John Deere was born from our desire to offer the best in the business. From the local construction company to the 20,000 acre farmer - these machines will give our customers a greater choice of machine, better suited for their project from a name that they know and trust.”
