RHS search for UK’s best young designer (RHS Show Tatton Park 21-25 July 2010 www.rhs.org.uk/tattonpark) The RHS is searching for the UK’s best young garden designer and calling for designers and students, aged 28 and younger, to enter a new national competition to win the title RHS Young Designer of the Year.

The competition aims to encourage and develop young creative talent. To take part designers need to submit a garden design for RHS Show Tatton Park by 14 December 2009, following a brief set by the RHS (visit www.rhs.org.uk/tattonpark for information).

A panel, made up of some of the world’s best designers and plantsmen, will select three finalists who will each receive £12,000* to create their garden at the RHS’ greatest gardening show in North England - RHS Show Tatton Park.

The three gardens will be judged by the RHS judges at the show and the overall winner given the title RHS Young Designer of the Year.

RHS Show Tatton Park takes place between 21 and 25 July 2010, with 21 July reserved for RHS members. www.rhs.org.uk/tattonpark
