Best sheep tradestand award
Is your breed represented with a Breed Society Tradestand?
The annual Best Sheep Breed Tradestand Award will again be made in 2008. A special Welsh Royal Crystal Award sponsored by Mr. Emlyn Kinsey-Pugh, Festival Chairman, will be presented to the winner. This year, we are pleased to have Mr & Mrs R. B. McKay, Green Plain, Martletwy, Narberth, Pembrokeshire, SA67 8AH judging the competition, which will commence 9.30am on Saturday, 17th May 2008. The presentation of the award will take place on the winning stand at approximately 2.30pm on the same day.
If your breed is not already exhibiting at the Festival, why not consider attending the 2008 event and give visitors the chance to have an insight and learn about your breed? Who knows, you might even win the above award! To exhibit, simply request a tradestand form either by telephoning Simon or John on 01982 554401/02 or by e-mail: tradestands@rwas.co.uk.
Please note that all Sheep Breed Tradestands will be situated as near as possible to the Competitive Sheep Section in 2008. Please also note that these Tradestands are automatically entered for the above award. Your stand should be informative, educational and appealing and can include live animals on show at the stand.
Breed Tradestands - Closing date for entries 15th March 2008.
