Ponies (UK) is looking forward to a fantastic 2010 Summer Championships at Newark and Notts Showground August 11th to 14th. This is the 5th year the championships have been held on this ground and each year they get better. New ring layouts trialled last year will be repeated with additional improvements. We have now generated the ‘heart’ of the show, and it now beats loudly.

2010 welcomes Jenny Pitman as the Ponies (UK) President, and we welcome her to our Summer Championships. A qualifying round for the Heros Challenge is being held on Saturday, as well as all the National Championships and HOYS qualifies. Jenny is our judge for the Cuddy Championship qualifier.

The dog show is back! Fun classes for all your canine friends are being held. The fair is back ! Something for the non horsey members of the family as well as for the horsey. Tradestand numbers are up, so shopping is assured. The whole atmosphere of the Summer Championships is buoyant with entries up over last year and the number of stables booked showing an increase.

Entries show increases right across the schedule, with the numbers entered for the breed classes confirming that the decision taken by the board to reduce the entry fee for these classes was the right one. The free class entry on Saturday for each member introduced last year is again on offer. This class entry can be made at the show.
