Following the success of last years Saturday spring sale the Chelford RBST sale has been brought forward to the 6th March to co-inside with the main breeding season. The RBST sale is the first of the big sales in 2010 at Chelford, with large entries anticipated every Bank Holiday and weekly throughout the school holidays.
The RBST sale will be split in to a number of sections to include Large Fowl, Bantams, Domestic Water Fowl, Ornamental Water Fowl, Geese, Turkeys, and others. There will also be a range of hatching eggs and poultry sundries all to be sold by auction.
Also on the sale day there will be a number of stall holders in attendance offering poultry accessories from a hen house through to a small bag of chick starter crumb. The ideal opportunity to come and get everything you need on one day, whilst selecting your birds from approx 350 pens of poultry. All you need to bring appropriate transport for getting birds home and some photographic ID to register as a purchaser with the auctioneers. Note to vendors Entries close Feb 22nd.
