TENNIS lovers will have the opportunity to play for free at an open day this weekend.
Chard Tennis Club will hold its annual open day on Saturday, May 18.
A message from the club read: “Come along to Chard Tennis Club on Saturday, May 18, for the club’s annual open day to play tennis for free.
“There will be time for Juniors to play from 10 to 11.30am followed by adults from 11.30am to 1pm with fun sessions led by the coach Roy Collins.
“The club are offering fantastic membership discounts for new members joining on the day, including a £1 a month trial.
“There will be refreshments, time to look around at the facilities, and a chance to chat to existing members about opportunities for new learners, rusty returners, and competitive league tennis.
“The club looks forward to welcoming everyone – find the courts near the centre of Chard, signed off Zembard Lane, beside the football and cricket pitches, TA20 1JL, or check out the club website.”
