A FORFARMERS site welcomed a new operations manager last month.
Nick Johnson, who was production manager at ForFarmers' Radstock Mill, was promoted to operations manager for the Portbury Mill near Bristol. He has worked for the company for 11 years.
“I am very much looking forward to diving into my new role, and getting to know the team at Portbury," he said.
"Every mill is different at ForFarmers, and so I want to understand how they operate, and from there see how I can influence operations and improve performance to the benefit of our customers.”
Terry Morrison, operations director at ForFarmers said Nick is 'thoroughly deserving' of his promotion.
“This new role will see Nick’s responsibilities grow to oversee all operations on the Portbury site, including transport, logistics and production," he said.
"I look forward to supporting him and wish him every success in his new role.”
