A series of question and answer discussions will be led by specialists throughout the day. These incude:

  • Ian Gould, director of Oakbank Game and Conservation, and Tom Sadan, senior business development consultant at Agricarbon - soil sampling and assessing soil performance and health
  • Matt Smith, sales manager at Amazone - drill demonstration
  • Tom Tolputt, founder of Terrafarmer - farm walk to explore livestock grassland management and soil health
  • Thomas, from Agreena - carbon scheme

Andrew said: “There is a lot of confusion, misinformation and questions in the minds of farmers regarding carbon and regenerative farming.

“This event is the latest in a series of regen days Fram Farmers has hosted in various regions to discuss the topic, and help address questions and concerns. We are keen to help livestock and arable farmers in the south west fully understand how they can make a more sustainable approach work, and maximise the value of their efforts.

“Whether you're a seasoned regen farmer, simply curious, or are looking for further support having applied for the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) government scheme, this event promises to inspire and educate, and we, alongside Agreena, look forward to welcoming you to East Farm on April 18."
