A new webpage has been launched that curates and explores the phenomenon of animal and bird migration.

The map element on themilitarymutual.com/strength-in-numbers/ shows selected journeys made by species which travel on land, sea and air. It shows the direction and locations of a curated selection of journeys as well as the size of the migrating population.

It also shows how these migrations compare to notable journeys made by humans, the manpower of the British Armed Forces and the animals that work alongside the British Armed Forces.
