The Chipping Show in Lancashire celebrates all aspects of farming and rural life with classes for sheep, cattle, light horses, ponies and shire horses plus poultry, pigeon and egg sections.

The show, which is on Saturday August 23, also has classes for cheeses, handicrafts, cakes and preserves, a large horticultural section plus children’s, dog and baby sections.

It offers the perfect day out for the whole family, with over 50 trade stands and a craft marquee packed with local rural crafts there is something for everyone. Come and sample the cuisine in the speciality food producers marquee, there are vintage vehicles on show plus entertainment for children and main arena attractions throughout the day.

Dogs are welcome and their owners can enter them in the Dog Show on the day. With the backdrop of Parlick Fell the show ground is a five minute walk from the centre of Chipping village which is in the picturesque Forest of Bowland AONB.
